Project Management Professional Program preparing for the PMP Certificate

Following the PMI® PMBOK processes; project initiation, planning, executing, control, and closing the course has been tailored to satisfy the requirements of qualifying candidates to undertake the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam.  The course is also very useful for guiding project professionals and training them to manage their projects throughout their life cycles.

 

This course is covered in 36 hours and based on the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge)

 

Managing Multiple Projects

In many firms there are project management teams that are managing multiple projects at the same time.  Whether you are a Program Manager or Program professional who is exposed to dealing with several projects at the same time then this course is for you.  The course focuses on project’s strategies (Portfolio) and programs management and how to successfully play your role.  The course is providing many tools and techniques to benefit from and practically use in your current projects.

Project Scheduling, Costing and Planning

Cost and Time are two of the most important variables that govern the success of any project.  If the time and cost are planned and controlled properly, the project team will be more confident in achieving project objectives.  This course is structured to comply with PMI® and AACEI® philosophies.  The course covers time scheduling, time controlling, budgeting, cost control and over all time and cost planning and it provides lots of tools and techniques in addition to real projects examples.

Developing Project Management Plan

At the beginning of a project, the project team has to prepare the Project Guide from start to end.  There are several names for the project guide in the market, many companies call it Project Management Plan, Project Procedures, Project Guide, etc..  This course is structured on the PMI® name Project Management Plan.  The importance of this course is how to guide professionals to develop their own projects plans and that is why this course is mostly based on practice and real project examples in addition to procedures organized by international project management standards.
